Meaningful Conversations

If we don’t talk with our children, the world—and and the internet—will fill in the gaps.
Meaningful Conversations is a powerful literacy initiative that uses curated books and expert-led workshops to help families and educators talk with children about life’s most important and relevant topics—identity, resilience, mental health, life and death, and more. Foster deeper connections and understanding through guided conversations and literacy resources that are age-appropriate. The goal is to create a positive impact on children, nurtured through the guidance and support of the caring adults in their lives.
Led by a knowledgeable and qualified literacy expert, Dr. Veronica Bloomfield, this series of speaking engagements offers keynotes, training, and customizable kits designed for schools, libraries, and parent groups. Whether you're a district leader building out your annual programming, a librarian launching a speaker series, or a parent seeking deeper connections at home—Meaningful Conversations equips parents, educators, and community members to spark powerful conversations that start with a story—and stay with a child for life.
